Le Havre AC opts for secure, 100% digital tickets

Le Havre Athletic Club is the first French football club to adopt the TIXNGO application, offering supporters an optimized experience.

In the first month, more than 30,000 tickets were distributed to HAC supporters via the new application, accounting for 63% of total ticket sales.

8,000 tickets were digitally transferred smoothly without loss for the Club.

Le Havre AC has just started its second season in Ligue 1 and has chosen to implement the TIXNGO mobile application to facilitate ticket purchases and provide a secure solution for supporters as soon as the season started with the first match at Stade Océane against PSG.

 

To date, over three matches, more than 30,000 tickets have been distributed to fans of the Norman club using the new application. Supporters have appreciated the simplified purchase of their now 100% digital tickets, smoother and faster entry at access control, and increased ease in transferring tickets to fellow supporters.

"We have received very positive feedback from our supporters, particularly on the simplification of ticket use and the elimination of dependence on paper tickets – which take more space, are easier to lose or forget, and of course, less ecological. Not to mention the increased efficiency at the stadium entrance with shorter waiting times and automated access controls."

The TIXNGO application is a tool that digitizes and facilitates the delivery and accessibility of tickets once purchased. It is also effective in combating ticket fraud and counterfeiting. It allows the creation of a unique, encrypted, and fully traceable ticket accessible on a smartphone, meaning no need to print a paper ticket or collect a plastic card at the box office. The access title is directly injected into the "HAC Tickets" application of each buyer or recipient. The QR code appears according to the club's choices, a few days or hours before the match.

 

SECUTIX has partnered with the Norman club since 2012 and has supported all the major milestones of its growth since the club’s first match in the brand new Stade Océane. After introducing subscription sales, online tickets, and the sale of derivative products via the SECUTIX boutique/e-commerce module, the club wanted to go even further in securing tickets and creating a smooth purchase journey. The introduction of the TIXNGO mobile application and the S-Pay payment system will create a positive experience for fans from the moment they purchase tickets to their entry into the stadium.
