Utilita Bowl, the South Coast’s premier international sport, music and leisure destination, has announced SECUTIX as its new ticketing technology partner.
Utilita Bowl joins SECUTIX’s growing roster of cricket clients, including The Hundred, ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024, Lancashire, Durham, Somerset, Surrey, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Cricket.
The multi-year agreement will see the launch of a completely new end-to-end ticketing experience, including websites, products, payment options, and ticket delivery options.
Commenting on the new partnership, Greig Stewart, Head of Customer Experience at Utilita Bowl, said:
“We want to create a seamless purchase journey for all our visitors. SECUTIX’s full suite of solutions has worked brilliantly across The Hundred, and the platform has the flexibility for us to build innovative ticket purchase journeys for fans.
Over the last five years, SECUTIX has become the platform of choice across cricket, and we see value in aligning our systems with other venues and The Hundred to make everything as simple as possible for supporters.”
David Hornby, Managing Director of SECUTIX UK & Ireland, added:
“We’re looking forward to working with Greig and his team to evolve the digital ticketing journey in preparation for the 2027 Ashes.
Our cricket experience is second to none, with us now operating at the majority of Test Match venues in England. Applying our vast cricket knowledge alongside our world-class digital solutions, we want to make sure that supporters can enjoy a more intuitive and flexible ticketing-buying experience.”
The partnership will be live from September powering an all-new online ticket shop for the 2025 international ticket on sale, which sees Utilita Bowl welcome India, South Africa and West Indies. The ticket ballot for these matches is currently open at utilitabowl.com and marks the start of a new era for international cricket at the venue, which will host 19 international cricket matches from 2025-2031, including a Men’s Ashes Test in 2027 and a Women’s Ashes Test in 2031.
SECUTIX will be used for Hampshire Cricket memberships and all international and domestic cricket tickets for events hosted at Utilita Bowl. The platform is expected to process an estimated 200,000 tickets annually.
