- New cooperation from 2024/2025: SECUTIX will take over ticketing for Bühnen Graz, the Austria's largest theatre group
- Comprehensive extensions in the area of subscriptions in development
- SECUTIX positions itself for the first time on the important Austrian cultural market
24 May 2023: SECUTIX will be the new partner of art + event | Theaterservice Graz from the 2024/2025 season. Through this partnership, SECUTIX will be responsible for the ticketing of Bühnen Graz, Austria's largest provincial theatre group, in the future. Oper Graz, Schauspielhaus Graz, Next Liberty, Orpheum Graz, Dom im Berg and Schloßbergbühne Kasematten move an annual ticket volume of around 600,000 tickets under the operational management of art + event | Theaterservice Graz.
More than just a ticketing system
In a public tendering phase from September to December 2022, SECUTIX was able to prevail over numerous competitors in several rounds of presentations and negotiations and secure the contract for a joint, multi-year cooperation. Decisive factors included a modern software approach, the willingness to further develop future requirements and technical prerequisites such as an open platform with interfaces and APIs (Application Programming Interface). SECUTIX sees itself as more than just a ticketing system. The permanent further development of the platform enables innovative customers such as Bühnen Graz and art + event | Theaterservice Graz to integrate third-party partners (e.g. a CRM system) as well as their own requirements. Future functions are developed in workshops as part of the cooperation. The focus is on high-performance solutions for the most important visitors: the subscribers. For SECUTIX itself, this new partnership with Austria's largest federal state theatre company is all the more important as it marks its strategic entry into the Austrian events market.
Norbert Stockmann, Managing Director DACH of SECUTIX, says:
"I am pleased that with art + event Theaterservice Graz we have a partner at our side with whom we can jointly expand the open platform idea in the future within the framework of a forward-looking partnership. During the tendering process we got to know the team of experts around managing director Wolfgang Hülbig as demanding, but also very experienced and focused, which makes the cooperation exciting. I am convinced that together, through further digitisation measures at Bühnen Graz, we will be able to offer visitors an optimised purchasing and event experience in the future. For SECUTIX, this partnership is of the highest strategic importance."
Bernhard Rinner, Managing Director of Bühnen Graz:
"Every day we work on the most diverse forms and genres of performing arts in the houses of Bühnen Graz. For the "one" moment we want to inspire our audience in this way. In order to achieve this goal - in addition to all artistic efforts - an innovative customer-oriented approach to us is of particular importance. Thanks to the new cooperation with SECUTIX, this access to the ticket and thus the way into the houses of Bühnen Graz will become even more contemporary in the future, and will put the wishes of our audience at the centre."
Wolfgang Hülbig, managing director of art + event | Theaterservice Graz GmbH:
"We support live experiences for people in front of, on and behind the stages. Behind the red curtain are our know-how, our passion and innovative strength. In the field of ticketing, we have found the ideal partner for the future in SECUTIX. We will put the audience of Bühnen Graz at the centre of our efforts by developing new, contemporary and customer-oriented offers together.
